Ten years after a plague turned most of the world's population into vampires, a critical blood shortage is causing panic and gruesome mutations within the undead community. Edward (Ethan Hawke), a vampire hematologist, is trying to develop a blood substitute when he meets Lionel (Willem Dafoe) and Audrey (Claudia Karvan), two fugitive humans who claim to have a possible cure for vampirism. Edward casts his lot in with Lionel and Audrey in the hope of perfecting the cure before it's too late.

Stimpak Stak

I have always been a vampire movie fan and this is one that made an impression. It's nice to watch a vampire movie that's not all about a girl falling in love with a vamp who's torn between his world and hers.There are some gorey moments but nothing over the top, it was all in good fun. I felt that the story progressed well, and shows you how the world would be if vampires ran the show. :) Overall a good movie!
