Not what I thought it was going to be...much better! Robert Downey Jr is fantastic as usual!

This was a really entertaining movie. Downey and Law make a great pair, kind of reminded me of Redford and Newman from "Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid". Downey plaid Holmes with a bit of insanity and charm, he's very much like the Tony Stark character from Iron Man and yet there's an air of sad hopelessness and obsession with what he does that makes you root for him. This film was good and honestly worth seeing more than once. I now see Sherlock Holmes in an entirely new light thanks to this movie. I'm glad it sets the stage for more Holmes movies as long as they are as good as this one.

When I came into the movie, I had an idea of what to expect, and the movie was nothing like what I had thought, in a very good way! I knew that there was going to be some sort of mystery, and there was, but it was intricate and kept you guessing as any "who dun it" movie should. Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. created quite the pair and if any of my friends were going to see it I would join them to view it a second time :)
